Irasshai-mase 2009!
It has been awhile since I last left a word here for you to read over. Many things have happened in the past few weeks, it has been a busy but joyful December this year.
- Went to Ikano, the Curve with Caryn on Thursday to have Christmas shopping. I got myself a long-sleeve shirt. We met Hon Whi and Sue Ann. I had yogurt ice-cream with fruits topping. We had dinner with Aunt Angeline’s family at the Damansara Village, which is quite famous with their alcohol-contained-steamboat. And I had chicken in all three meals that day omg. At the end of the day, I wasn’t feeling well, and took mc the next day. I blamed the chicken.
- To2ugh Youth committees had our year-end planning meeting on Friday night. We managed to stay awake discussing until 5am in the next morning, with plenty of TimTams and nougats brought all the way from Australia. We had our last practice for the Christmas performance in the next day, and McDonald after that. I left earlier, and went to my grandma house to bake CNY cookies.
- By the way, I’ve been baking CNY cookies every weekends since the end of November. Like usual, at my grandma house with my aunts. Like a family time thingie, and I kinda like it.
- Performed our skit and dance on Sunday. Everyone likes it and we enjoys it.
- Went to mother church after work on Tuesday, to have a jamming session for the Christmas service. Learned a Spanish Christmas carol (Felis Navi Dat~), and the harmonies of a few songs. I had fun.
- Woke up early on Christmas day, and reached church at about 7.30am. People commented me, “sing louder”, as usual. The service was good. Christmas Classics was great. Invited one of my best-est buddy, Siew Ying aka Octopus (Terri), to my grandma house to have Christmas potluck-dinner. My mum’s mushroom soup with garlic bread, aunt Peggy’s turkey, Caleb’s mash potato and spaghetti, aunt Irene’s cold cut and fruit salad, Caryn’s special drink.. Shugoi superb!! (I think I gained some weight after that..) Glad Terri had fun, but too bad Kyle missed it. Going to invite them again next year anyway. And I just love Christmas.
- Went to Mid Valley with my two best-est buddies, Terri and Kyle. We had our lunch at Zakura, then watched Bolt after that, and it was great. We wanted to go Sunway but couldn’t find our way there so.. ended up at Jaya One instead. Had our dinner at Halo Cafe (finally!) and it was awesome! I’ll definitely go there again. I’ve took some picture by the way.

Anyway, goodbye 2008 and welcome 2009 in 90 more minutes.
Happy Blessed New Year everyone! Jane~

Bee-see!
Wow, it’s been awhile since my last post here. I’ve been so so, so busy, and life almost ate me up. But God is good, and life is busy, but good too. =]
Let’s see.. I’ve received the letter of offer from UTAR last week, drove there (finally can remember the direction), and done with the registration. All I’m waiting now is the 4th of January. I’m grateful on getting a freelance job too; designing t-shirt collars and lady’s wear. I should be submitting 30 designs tomorrow, and yet, I’m still blogging now while I’ve only.. 5 designs finished? Lol.. I’m not kidding, and I’m so going to be dead tomorrow I know. I still haven’t finish preparing the lesson for this coming youth Sunday school, and a list of songs for next Sunday’s worship too. My gosh.. And I’ve less than two weeks time to choreograph a dance for the church Christmas presentation. o_o
Let me die suan le la.
How I wish, haha. But anyway, wonder how’s the sudoku competition? I missed it at the end, cause went to meet my second-boss (of my freelance job). Other than that.. I think I better sleep now, brainstorming tomorrow. Wish me luck, thanks and jane. =_= z z Z

I’m a warrior.
MSIG Samurai Sudoku Showdown accepted my application. I’ll be competing with 814 contestants! OMG. I think I better start practicing now. Heh. Besides, I finally went to UTAR to enroll myself. Now, I can’t wait to stop working and start my uni life!

I heart all of them.
Time really flies. Sometimes, how I wish I could turn back time, when Kenny was still leading the youth, when I was still the young little sister in the youth, when we could spend time and hang out with each other.. But now, I’m no longer the young little sister, and Kenny’s no longer involved in the youth ministry. He just ended his bachelor life in this morning too! I feel so happy for him. But at the same time..
I feel like crying.
So many former youths attended his wedding. From Kenny himself, Alvin, Albert, David.. to Kam Wah, Hoong Yee, Han Leong.. I really miss the time when I first joined the youth with Dorcas, when I was the youngest after Julien, how they took care of me, how they fetched me here and there, how I called them ko ko and je je..
I cherish all the moments that I had with and in the youth. From Kenny to Albert, then Alvin, then Kam Wah, then Pang Pang, then Uncle Phua, then Simon, then Uncle Peter, then Elaine, then Lay Yean now, with Alvin back to us as well. From a small group of friend’s friend, non-Christians, which was easy come easy go, until now a growing youth. From a so called Klbcc youth, until now with our own name, logo and t-shirt, the To2ugh youth.. The youth almost fell off several times too, but thanks to the awesome God who’ve always been faithful to us, To2ugh survived 8 years, without any youth pastors or leaders watching over us.
Come to think of it, I feel so blessed to have them part of my life. They might never know how much they impacted me, but I always will, especially Kenny. I thank God for him. I thank God for each and everyone of them. I thank God that I joined the youth when I was 11. I thank God for giving me the privilege to serve in the youth ministry now.
I love You God, and what You’ve given to me. I love my youth.
