"Irony of life."
Sometimes, we thought everything is under our control. Our studies, works, skills, money.. But when things go wrong, we tend to blame anyone anything other than ourselves. Friends, family, luck, God or even the food that we ate yesterday. Then we’ll say, “It’s out of my control, I can’t do anything about it. It’s not my fault.” So we’re controlling our lives now? Or we’re being controlled by our lives? I don’t know.. But one thing for sure, He’s got it all under control.
Well, you might think, “Something wrong must be going on in her life.” but nah, I’m good. Just something happened and I’m still yet to adapt the little changes in my life right now. But anyway, I don’t want to make this entry sounds too serious cause “Why so serious?”, said Joker. Just read the dialogues and hopefully, you’ll understand.
Few days ago..
Me: I think I need to change. I think I should sleep and wake up earlier, have a proper quiet time, start counting and saving my money before they disappear to no where.. Em.. I really think so. What do You think, God?
God: …
The next day..
Brother: Hey, I found a job.
Me: Great! And finally.
Brother: So, I need to use the car.
Me: Σ(゚д゚ ;) O ya.. I almost forget about it..
Brother: I still can fetch you in the morning. But we’ll be leaving home at 7am then.
Me: (゚д゚ ;;) OMG.. 7am..
Brother: And I can’t fetch you after work, you have to take bus.
Me: (゚д゚ ;;;) OMGOMG.. I have to take bus..
Brother: And I’ll be working on weekends too. So, no car for you on Sat and Sun.
Me: Σ(゚д゚ ;;;;) OOO-MMM-GGG! (Note: It’s Oh My Gosh, not God)
God: …
Brother: Hey, are you okay?
Me: (゚д゚ ;;;) … * I’m stunned..
Brother: Are you.. angry?
Me: (゚д゚ ;;) … * Still stunned..
Brother: Don’t la angry.
Me: (゚д゚ ;) (゚д゚ ) (゚_゚ ) (’_’ ) (´□` ) ε=(´。` ) (´_` ) ..
Me: I’m not angry. I’m just thinking.. what should I do without the car..
Later in the kitchen..
Me: Die. I think God answered my prayer. Do you know what I mean?
Mum: Aren’t you suppose to be happy?
Me: I know but.. I never thought it’ll be this way and.. I’m not ready for it you know. I’ll surely sleep earlier than before as I’ll be taking bus (trust me, it’s darn tiring taking bus especially after work), and because of that, I can wake up earlier. And since I’ll reach the office an hour earlier (my work starts at 9am), I’ve no excuse to not do my quiet time anymore. (my only excuse = no time)
Mum: Haha. Good for you girl. ( ̄ー ̄)ノ(_ _)
Me: … God, You’re so awesome. (No, I mean it)
God: …
God is always that cool to me. Haha. But anyway, I’m thankful. I’m thankful that my big brother offered to fetch me, so I don’t have to wake up that early. I’m thankful that my dad offered me a ride home, so I wouldn’t have to wait for the bus while it was raining cats and dogs. I’m thankful that when I couldn’t reach my big brother and dad couldn’t fetch me, my mood was so down, my mum suddenly called and told me that my brother was on his way to my office already. So.. yes, I’m thankful to have such a thoughtful, wonderful, but sometimes make you mad, sometimes make you laugh, caring and awesome family.
I’m still surviving without my car, but just started few days ago, wait til next week and see.. I’ll be probably.. dead in the bus.

Lol, it sucks when good news also brings about a lot of inconvenient changes. Its nice that your dad picks you up so you wont have to wait in the rain though.
All the good things and bad things seem to band together these days.
But I’m glad you were able to put the bad things and pull out more of the good things. 8D
So… are you saving money?
And it’s awesome to have a nice family. :3
Thanks for passed by Leslie.
And Hiro, that’s a good question. xD
Guess I need to spend a night to do some counting lol. I did actually, but not working. And I did able to save some money because no car = not paying for petro. x ]
God works in mysterious ways, dai ka jie. =P
And wasn’t it just recently that they announced the fuel price cut + review every 15 days or so? That’s the “money” saved. =)
(Psst - My summer ends in less than a week. Boohoo….)
You’re right mei. And ooo… meaning that you’ll be leaving Malaysia very soon? Aww.
