Art training.

Not a formal one, but surprisingly pro.

The Art teachers from Ipoh branch came down to Kuala Lumpur today. One of them (forgotten her name already.. ^_^;) taught us what and how to teach students creatively, as well as variety of art and crafts for the students to do next time. She also showed us some sample works and masterpieces of the teachers and students from Ipoh. They’re beautiful. One of her student even won a Silver metal for a Worldwide Art competition. No kidding.

Honest speaking, I once thought of quiting because.. They only have classes on Friday night and Saturday or 8 hours in total, paying me RM5 per hour for the first 3 months and RM7.5 per hour after that. My income every month is approximate RM160 to RM240 only. If I work with Kang Yee, I think I’ll have RM1000 already after two weeks only. See the reason why now? =_=

But after attending this training, I’m impressed and decided nah, I shouldn’t quit. Why?

  • The boss and staff there are great people. They’re even kind enough to offer me a lift every week. I really appreciate that.
  • I can skip my work once in a while since the salary is counted by hours. xDD
  • I can still continue working even after my school starts, to earn some
    extra pocket money.
  • I love Art and good naughty kids.
  • I learn a lot through this job. I can attend their training courses for free as well.

So why quit? Though I want to earn more money!! T_T Argh! Too late.

Hey, seems like a great experience. I don’t think you should quit, although the money looks very tempting… But you can’t put a price experience and knowledge!… right? XD

    Yeah, money is tempting.. T_T
But it’s very true that experience and knowledge are priceless. x)

    No kidding? Man that’s good.
I agree: I don’t think you should quit just because of money issues (although I know old Monsieur Cash’s capacity to tempt).
