Time Flies
as she walks faithfully to pursue His will..Interesting blogs.
I’ve been reading quite a number of blogs recently, and I really enjoyed reading some of them. Their blogs inspired me in many different ways. Sometimes, I just wish I could write as good as them. I envy them very much.
I realized there’re three factors that can make a blog interesting. (to me at least)
The first one, is definitely your life and experience. You share thoughts through an experience, doesn’t it? And sometimes, followed by pictures lol. *poke Yvonne* I think most of us had achieved that, especially young adults. As you grow older and look back to what you’ve written in the past few years, it comes to the point that you are changing and becoming more mature. Eventually, your blog’s content started to change too! Without you realizing it.
The second one, is your language and words that you used. That’s the turning point of it. That’s where an ugly worm, can turned to become a beautiful butterfly. Lol. It’s the way you describe things, the way you express your feelings and emotion, and the way you explain your ideas and thoughts. Not everyone of us are able to do that figuratively. I can’t. Since I’ve limited vocabulary and average writing skill only for English. -_- I wish I could next time. At least I’m trying at the moment. Heh.
And the last but not least, is your signature style of writing. This is where the way you open and end your stories, symbols and smilies that you used in between, elements that you’ve put inside e.g. non-related pictures, your lining and paragraphing, and the font style e.g. bold and italic that you’ve used to highlight something, plays an important role in developing your own signature style. Most of us have the same common style of writing. You can hardly find someone who has his/her own unique style of writing. But hardly find, doesn’t mean you can’t find. At least I found some of them, whose blog I’ll always visit. Just love reading their blogs! So nicely written. >.<
Maybe I should start practising more on my writing skills already, and then start to develop my own signature style of writing. At least, to make my blog more interesting. Heh.

hm.. agree with u…
Ahh yes.
And, for what it’s worth, you’ve mentioned the magic rule of three in this blog (if you don’t know what I’m talking about, read The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. Awesome book!)
Btw, you already know how to parallel park?!?!? Whoah mate, that’s the ONE and ONLY thing that I can’t do yet. I can do everything now except that. =’(
I feel the same as you. Writing for others just seem to flow and come easily, but for me whenever I blog, I sound like I’m talking instead of using figurative language to create a more engaging entry. I’m sure with enough practice, it’ll soon come easily for us both.
You’re writing isn’t bad to start with, it’s actually pretty good. I think you already have a writing style of your own, it’s just you can’t pin point it.
Thanks June.
Ooo really? I’ll check the book out one day. Hehe. And yup, parallel parking, but with some very useful steps given by my tutor of course. Without the steps, I won’t be able to do it well. == Good luck to you anyway Vicky.
Really?! But thanks anyway Halley! Guess my style is on the way, but not very certain yet. xD I’ll still need to practice more to make it better. Hehe.
Ohhh that sounds good! I dont think i have my own way.. SOmetimes i barely have anything to write about. I have absolutely no ideas. Like now =(
